  1. Saute onions lightly in butter.
  2. Add potatoes and water and cook until tender.
  3. Add corn, milk, salt and pepper.
  4. Heat, but do not boil.
  5. Top with crumbled bacon and sour cream, if desired.
  6. This recipe may be doubled for seconds or for freezing.
