Amish Cinnamon Bread

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 cup flour

Directions:

  1. Mix into a large Ziploc Bag.
  2. Set on Counter Top
  3. Day 1: Do Nothing
  4. Day 2, 3, 4, 5: Mash bag twice a day.
  5. Day 6: Add 1 Cup Flour, 1 Cup Milk, and 1 Cup Sugar.
  6. Day 7, 8, 9: Mash bag and let air out twice a day.
  7. Day 10: Pour contents into a large bowl. Add 1 Cup Flour, 1 Cup Sugar and 1 Cup Milk. Mix Together.
  8. Measure out 4 one cup starters into large Ziploc Bags. Give these to your friends along with this recipe. Tomorrow will be Day 1 for them.
  9. Add the remainder mix into a large bowl with the following ingredients: 1 Cup Vegetable Oil, 1/2 Cup Milk, 3 Eggs, 1 tsp Vanilla.
  10. Mix Well and set aside.
  11. In another bowl, mix the following ingredients: 2 Cups Flour, 2 tsp Baking Soda, 2 tsp Cinnamon (optional depending on the pudding), 5.1oz box of instant pudding of your choice, 1 Cup Sugar, 1/2 tsp Salt.
  12. Mix well and set aside.
  13. In a small bowl, mix together enough sugar and cinnamon to coat bottom of 2 loaf pans and the top of the bread mixture.
  14. Mix dry mixture into wet mixture and mix well.
  15. Add Nuts if wanted.
  16. Spray 2 Loaf pans with non-stick cooking spray and coat the bottom of pans with 1/2 of cinnamon/sugar mixture.
  17. Pour batter into pans and put remaining cinnamon/sugar on top of batter.
  18. Bake at 325 degrees for 45 minutes to 1hour or until toothpick comes out clean.
  19. Enjoy!
