Ingredients:

  • 1/2 cup chopped onion
  • 3 tbsp flour
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup ketchup
  • 4 cups tomato juice
  • 2 -3 tbsp chili powder
  • salt and pepper (very little is needed)

Directions:

  1. Brown ground beef, onions and celery, then drain excess fat.
  2. Add flour and heat through, stirring constantly.
  3. Add all remaining ingredients and mix well.
  4. Cover and simmer 30 minutes.
