  1. Grate orange rind; set aside. Remove seeds from orange. Grind orange; set aside.
  2. Combine cream, egg yolks, and sugar in a saucepan; cook over medium heat, stirring constantly, until thickened. Remove from heat; stir in butter.
  3. Stir in orange rind and pulp. Add coconut, currants, and pecans, mixing well. Let cool completely.
