Ingredients:

Directions:

  1. Preheat oven to 350 then grease a square pan.
  2. Beat together cream cheese and 2 tablespoons butter until softened then beat in 1/4 cup sugar.
  3. Stir in 1 egg, 1 tablespoon flour and coconut.
  4. Reserve 16 whole almonds then chop the rest.
  5. Stir in 1/3 cup chopped almonds and set aside.
  6. Melt 5 ounces chocolate and remaining butter over low heat until melted then remove from heat.
  7. Stir in 1/2 cup sugar and vanilla then beat in 2 eggs.
  8. Stir in 1/2 cup flour, baking powder and salt then add remaining chopped almonds.
  9. Spread chocolate batter in pan then spread cheese batter on top and garnish with whole almonds.
  10. Bake for 40 minutes being careful not to over bake.
  11. Melt remaining chocolate and drizzle over brownies then cool in pan and cut in squares.
