Ingredients:

Directions:

  1. Mix cake and bake as directed for one 9x13 pan.
  2. In a saucepan combine 1/2 can of the evaporated milk, and 1 1/2 cups of the sugar.
  3. Bring mixture to a rapid boil.
  4. Quickly remove from the heat and add marshmallows.
  5. Stir until melted and then add coconut.
  6. Pour this mixture over the baked cake.
  7. In a saucepan combine the remaining sugar (1 cup) and remaining evaporated milk.
  8. Bring to a boil.
  9. Remove from heat and add butter and chocolate chips.
  10. Stir until melted and add almonds.
  11. Pour over the top of the cake.
  12. Chill for at least 2 hours.
  13. Best if made a day prior to serving.
