Acorn Squash Apple Casserole

Ingredients:

  • 3 lb acorn squash pared seeded and cut into 1 inch pieces
  • 1/4 cup butter
  • 4 tbsp brown sugar
  • 1/4 tsp nutmeg
  • 1 tsp cinnamon

Directions:

  1. Place squash and apples in a casserole dish.
  2. Combine butter, sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg and lemon juice.
  3. Drizzle over squash and apples.
  4. Cover and bake at 350 for 45 minutes.
