Ingredients:

  • 1 (1 1/4 oz) envelope onion soup mix
  • 1/4 tsp paprika
  • 1/2 tsp red peppers or 1/2 tsp cayenne
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp oregano
  • 1 tsp basil
  • 2 lbs rump roast

Directions:

  1. Combine soup mix and spices with 2 cups of water in roasting pan.
  2. Add roast, cover and bake at 350 for 3 hours.
  3. Remove from oven, cool slightly and slice.
