Ingredients:

  • 7/8 cup flour
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 2 eggs
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 1/2 cup vegetable oil

Directions:

  1. Sift into a bowl the flour and salt.
  2. Stir in the milk.
  3. Beat the eggs and stir them into the batter.
  4. Add the water.
  5. Beat the batter until large bubbles rise to the surface.
  6. Have ready a hot muffin tin containing about 1/4 oil or melted butter.
  7. Pour in the batter and bake in preheated 400 F oven for approx 20 minute
  8. Some cooks recommend 350 F for 30 minute.
