Ingredients:

Directions:

  1. Combine the sunflower oil with the water, light brown sugar and honey in a large saucepan. Bring mixture to a boil over medium heat, then remove from heat and stir in vanilla extract. Add cinnamon, oats, sunflower seeds and sliced almonds to the hot sugar mixture and stir until well coated. Spread mixture out in a large shallow roasting pan (I use a 10x15 x inch jellyroll pan), which has been coated well with a nonstick spray and bake in a preheated 275° oven about 1 hour to 1 hour and 15 minutes or until lightly toasted and crisp, stirring occasionally to insure even toasting. Cool well, then combine with the raisins, dried pineapple and papaya. Store in an airtight container at room temperature.
