Ingredients:

Directions:

  1. Melt butter in large saucepan.
  2. Add vegetables, savory and bay leaf.
  3. Stir to coat with butter.
  4. Cover and simmer over low heat 20 mins, stirring once or twice.
  5. Add broth of consomme and bring to a boil.
  6. Lower heat and simmer 10 minutes.
  7. Add hot milk and season to taste.
