Ingredients:

Directions:

  1. Cook sago or tapioca in 1 cup boiling water until tender, adding more water if necessary.
  2. Boil rest of ingredients, except egg yolks for 15 minutes.
  3. Add the cooked sago or tapioca, bring to a boil, then pour very gradually over the two well beaten egg yolks.
  4. Serve Chilled.
  5. Strawberry, raspberry, currant, plum, rhubarb or any dried fruit alone or in combination may be prepared the same way, or without the wine.
