Whole Wheat Bread With Added Protein and Calcium

Ingredients:

  • 6 tbsp sugar
  • 9 tsp yeast
  • 3 tbsp salt
  • 6 tbsp oil
  • 7 cups hot water

Directions:

  1. In a large bowl mix 9 cups of whole wheat flour and all other ingredients (except water and egg and of coarse the other 9 cups flour).
  2. Measure enough water plus egg to equal 7 cups.
  3. Mix well.
  4. Add more wheat flour, 1 cup at a time and mix well.
  5. Keep adding flour until it forms a firm ball.
  6. Spray or rub oil in a large bowl, place the dough ball in bowl and cover with a towel.
  7. Let rise until double.
  8. Punch down.
  9. Cut dough into six pieces.
  10. Set in loaf pans, cover with towel and let rise until double.
  11. Place in oven at 400 degrees for about 20-25 minutes.
