  1. Mix flour, salt, baking soda, and baking powder. Work in shortening like you would for a pie crust. Mix 3 eggs, sugar and vanilla. Work together with the rest of the ingredients. Chill the dough. Roll out on a greased cookie sheet and bake 8-15 minutes at 350 - 375 degrees.
