Ingredients:

Directions:

  1. Cream butter.
  2. Gradually add flour mixed and sifted with baking soda and lemon juice.
  3. Beat egg whites until stiff.
  4. Add sugar to egg whites.
  5. Combine mixtures and add cherries, almonds, citron, and extract.
  6. Bake in greased deep cake tin in moderate oven 350F for 1 hour.
