Ingredients:

Directions:

  1. Cook the bacon in a dutch oven until done.
  2. Remove the bacon from the dutch oven and reserve.
  3. Saute onion in the bacon drippings until tender.
  4. Add all the remaining ingredients, including the reserved bacon, to the dutch oven.
  5. Simmer for 45 minutes.
  6. Remove the bay leaf before serving.
