Ingredients:

  • 4 cups flour
  • 1 1/2 cups brown sugar
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 cup shortening
  • 1 egg
  • 2 tbsp vinegar
  • 1 tbsp vanilla

Directions:

  1. Mix all ingredients together until a soft dough is formed. Roll out lightly and cut with cookie cutters. Bake in moderate oven (325*) until light brown.
