Ingredients:

  • 1 medium onion
  • 4 cloves garlic
  • 1 tsp cumin
  • 1 tblsp cholula hot sauce
  • 1
  • 1 4 oz. can of diced green chilis
  • 1 6-ish oz can of chili verde
  • 1 6-ish oz can of green chili salsa
  • 1 5.5 to 6 oz can of snappy tom, can use spicy hot v8 is alternate
  • 1 15 oz. can of
  • 1 15 oz. can of
  • 1 15 oz can of
  • 2 15 oz cans of fire roasted diced tomatoes , 1 can and 1 can of diced tomatoes, or 2 cans of diced tomatoes alternate
  • 1 15 oz can of diced tomatoes with green chilis

Directions:

  1. Brown meat in skillet, drain
  2. Combine remaining ingredients in large slow cooker and add browned meat.
  3. Slow cook for 4 hrs minimum with lid, stirring occasionally
  4. Makes 8 to 10 bowls
  5. Top with shredded Cheddar and Jack cheese
  6. Serve with:warm corn tortillas and butter and/or tortilla chips
  7. Lots of Beer, Shiner Bock, Tecate, etc.
