Transparent Apple Pie

Ingredients:

  • 1 stick margarine
  • 1 1/2 cup. sugar
  • 1 heaping tbsp. flour mixed in sugar
  • 1 tsp. nutmeg
  • 1 1/2 cup. diced apples

Directions:

  1. Cream shortening and sugar.
  2. Add eggs and nutmeg.
  3. Fold in apples.
  4. Put in uncooked crust.
  5. Preheat oven to 400, bake 10 minutes.
  6. Reduce to 325 or 300 depending on your oven and bake 45 minutes.
