Sweet & Sour Asparagus

Ingredients:

  • 3/4 cup vinegar
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 3 cinnamon sticks
  • 1 tsp whole cloves
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • lettuce leaf (optional)

Directions:

  1. Combine all the ingredients (except asparagus) in a saucepan bring to a boil.
  2. Pour over the asparagus and refrigerate for 24 hours Serve on lettuce leaves (Optional).
