Sweet Potato Pecan Pie

Ingredients:

  • filling
  • 3/4 cup sugar
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1.4 tsp nutmeg
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 1/4 tsp allspice
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla
  • 2/3 cup sweetened condenced milk
  • the topping
  • 1 cup coursley chopped pecans
  • 2 large eggs, beaten
  • 2 tsp vanilla
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • pinch of salt
  • 1/8 tsp cinnamon

Directions:

  1. Preheat oven to 325
  2. Roll out pie crust and place in a 9 inch deep dish pie plate
  3. Add all ingredients of filling into mixer and mix well.
  4. In seperate bowl mix all ingredients for the topping
  5. Place pie plate on drip tray as filling may drip over.
  6. Spoon the filling into the pie crust and smooth out.
  7. Pour topping over the top.
  8. Bake in oven for hour and half or until crust is golden and filling is set.
  9. Serve at room temp with fresh whipped cream.
