Sweer-And-Sour Meat Loaf

Ingredients:

  • 1 egg
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp pepper
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 2 tbsp brown sugar

Directions:

  1. In a bowl, lightly beat the egg.
  2. Add 2 tablespoons of ketchup, mustard, bread crumbs, soup mix , salt and pepper.
  3. Crumble beef over mixture .
  4. Mix well.
  5. Shape into an oval loaf.
  6. Place in a shallow 1 quart microwave-safe dish.
  7. Cover with waxed paper.
  8. Microwave on high for 11-12 minutes or until meat is no longer pink, rotating a half turn once.
  9. Drain.
  10. In a small bowl, combine the sugars, vinegar and remaining ketchup.
  11. Drizzle over the meat loaf.
  12. Cover and microwave on high for 3-5 minutes or until meat is no longer pink.
  13. Let meat loaf stand for 10 minutes, bnefore slicing.
