Ingredients:

Directions:

  1. Line bottom and side of an 8 or 9 cake pan with aluminum foil (do not use plastic wrap or wax paper).
  2. Butter foil heavily and set pan aside.
  3. Combine almonds, butter, sugar and corn syrup in a 10 skillet.
  4. Bring to a boild over medium heat, stirring constantly.
  5. Continue to boil & stir constantly, until mixture turns golden brown (about 5-6 minutes).
  6. Working quickly, pour and spread candy evenly in prepared pan.
  7. Cool about 15 minutes, or until firm.
  8. Remove candy from pany by lifting edges of foil, peeling off foil. Cool thoroughly.
  9. If giving as a gift, it can be presented as a full disk or broken into pieces.
  10. Makes about 3/4 pound.
