Ingredients:

  • 2/3 cup oleo
  • 2 1/2 cups cake flour
  • 1 1/2 cups granulated sugar
  • 3/4 tsp salt
  • 1 cup milk

Directions:

  1. Beat oleo with vanilla extract.
  2. Sift flour, sugar, baking powder and salt together.
  3. Add flour/sugar mix to the oleo mixture.
  4. Add milk. Beat 2 minutes at medium speed.
  5. Add eggs. Beat mixture 2 minutes longer.
  6. Pour batter into 2 greased/floured 9 layer pans.
  7. Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes.
