Summertime Oatmeal

Ingredients:

  • 2 cups rolled oats
  • 2 -2 1/2 cups fruit, chopped
  • 3 tbsp slivered almonds, toasted
  • 1/4 tsp cinnamon
  • 1 pinch cardamom

Directions:

  1. Combine all ingredients in large bowl and mix well.
  2. Refrigerate at least overnight.
  3. If too thick, add a little milk or fruit juice.
  4. Optional add-ins: sunflower seeds, pumpkin seeds, toasted wheat germ - you get the idea.
  5. Serve chilled.
