Ingredients:

  • 3 1/2 cups flour
  • 2 cups sugar
  • 1 cup butter
  • 4 eggs
  • 1 1/2 cups milk
  • 2 tsp vanilla
  • 4 tbsp flour
  • 1 cup chopped nuts , optional
  • 1 tsp cinnamon

Directions:

  1. Sift dry ingredients together.
  2. Cut in butter until mixture is fine.
  3. In a seperate bowl, combine eggs, milk and vanilla.
  4. Add half of the liquid to the dry ingredients and beat until smooth.
  5. Add remaining liquid and beat until smooth.
  6. Pour half the batter into a 9x18-inch pan.
  7. In another bowl, combine brown sugar, flour, melted butter, chopped nuts and cinnamon.
  8. Mix into crumb mixture.
  9. Sprinkle half the crumbs on top of the batter mixture.
  10. Pour in the rest of the batter.
  11. Sprinkle the rest of the crumbs on top.
  12. Bake at 350 degrees for 45-55 minutes.
