Sue's Very Rich Pumpkin Cake

Ingredients:

  • 1 (29 oz) can pumpkin
  • 4 eggs
  • 1 1/2 cups sugar
  • 2 tsp cinnamon
  • 1 tsp ginger
  • 1/2 tsp nutmeg
  • clove (optional)
  • 1 package yellow cake mix

Directions:

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
  2. Beat the first 8 ingredients (pumpkin through cloves) and put into an ungreased 9 x 13 pan.
  3. Sprinkle dry cake mix over mixture.
  4. Pour melted margarine over the cake mix.
  5. Sprinkle with chopped nuts.
  6. Bake 1 hour- no longer!
