  1. Method for sambousa dough:
  2. 1. Sift flour in a large bowl, make a well in the center, add oil and egg.
  3. 2. Rub flour with fingertips adding little water gradually and mix thoroughly to form a homogenous dough.
  4. 3. Divide the dough to 4 portions and place them on a floured tray. Set aside for at least 1 hour.
  5. Method for the stuffing and frying:
  6. 1. In a frying pan heat 2Tbsp of oil and fry the onions till it be golden then add meat.Season with cumin, black pepper and salt and cook till it's done.
  7. 2. Roll each piece of dough into a round 3 millimeters thick pastry, using a cup to cut round pieces. Place a tablespoon of meat in the center of each piece andseal the edges or twist them.
  8. 3 Heat oil and fry the sambousa on both sides.
  9. 4. Serve hot.
  10. * When puff pastry is used the shape is triangular.
