Ingredients:

Directions:

  1. In a blender, chop cleaned strawberries into fine pieces.
  2. Add sour cream, sugar and brandy; blend until smooth.
  3. Add coffee cream and blend just until mixed in.
  4. Pour into container, cover and chill well before serving.
  5. To serve, pour the soup into small bowls, float 4 strawberry halves on top and drizzle quickly with a small amount of chocolate sauce.
  6. For a special effect , put a couple dollops of whipped cream around the outer edges of the soup (or use the canned whipped cream and create a couple swirls of it on top of the soup)
  7. NOTE: When my mother made this, there wasn't the variety of liquid coffee creamer flavors we now have in the refrigerated section of the market. I am going to experiment with some flavored creamers, like Vanilla, or Hazelnut - see what you come up with!
