Strawberry Macadamia Nut Muffins

Ingredients:

Directions:

  1. Heat oven to 400 degrees F. Grease bottoms only of 12 medium muffin cups, 2-1/2 x 1-1/4 inches, or line with paper baking cups.
  2. Beat milk, margarine and egg in large bowl.
  3. Stir in flour, sugar, baking powder and salt just until flour is moistened.
  4. Fold in strawberries and macadamia nuts.
  5. Divide batter evenly among muffin cups (cups will be almost full). Sprinkle with sugar if desired.
  6. Bake 20 to 22 minutes or until golden brown. Immediately remove from pan.
  7. Yield: 12 muffins
