Stacie's Old Fashioned Molasses Cookies

Ingredients:

  • 4 cups flour
  • 1 1/2 tsp ground ginger
  • 1/8 tsp salt
  • 1 1/2 cups molasses
  • 1/3 cup boiling water

Directions:

  1. Mix butter, molasses, boiling water and spices.
  2. Add flour and mix well.
  3. Chill for several hours.
  4. Roll out to 1/4 inch.
  5. Cut with 3 1/2 inch round cookie cutter.
  6. Bake at 375 for 9-12 minutes.
