St. Cuthbert's Day Soup

Ingredients:

Directions:

  1. In stockpot, melt butter.
  2. Add cabbage, onions, and potatoes.
  3. Saute until onions are translucent and cabbage is tender.
  4. Add corned beef.
  5. Add broth, water, spices, garlic, salt and pepper.
  6. Simmer gently for 20 minutes.
  7. Add lentils.
  8. Simmer another 20 minutes.
  9. Serve with a crusty bread.
