Ingredients:

Directions:

  1. In a large skillet, saute the asparagus, red bell pepper, and onion in butter until tender; set aside.
  2. Place bread in a greased 13 x 9 inch baking dish.
  3. Layer with ham, 1 cup cheese, and vegetable mixture.
  4. Sprinkle with remaining cheese.
  5. In a large bowl, combine the eggs, milk, honey, salt, and pepper.
  6. Pour over the top.
  7. Cover and refrigerate overnight.
  8. Remove from refrigerator 30 minutes before baking.
  9. Bake, uncovered, at 350° for 40-45 minutes or until a knife inserted in the center comes out clean.
  10. Let stand for 10 minutes before cutting.
