Spicy Lentil, Chickpea, and Brown Rice Burgers

Ingredients:

Directions:

  1. Heat olive oil to medium and saute chopped garlic and onion. Place in large bowl and set aside.
  2. In a separate bowl, mash chickpeas, brown lentils, and brown rice. Add to large bowl.
  3. Combine milled flaxseed, flour, water, and spices with the ingredients already in the large bowl. Mix well.
  4. Use a 1/3 cup to form 9 balls (mixture will be fairly moist). Roll in cornmeal and then shape into burgers. Place on an ungreased cookie sheet.
  5. Bake 35-45 minutes at 350 F, or until set.
