Ingredients:

  • 1 cup sugar
  • 2 tbsp flour
  • 1 1/2 cups milk
  • 1 tbsp butter
  • 1/2 cup ground pecans
  • 1 tsp vanilla

Directions:

  1. Add flour to sugar, mix beaten egg yolk with milk Add butter and pecans, Stir together in saucepan, cooking over low heat till thick, stirring constantly.
  2. Remove from heat add vanilla and pour into baked pie crust.
  3. Top with meringe.
  4. Bake in 375 oven till meringue is golden brown.
