Ingredients:

Directions:

  1. Coarsely mince the onions and tomatoes and put into a large bowl.
  2. Sprinkle with the salt and set aside for 24 hours. Strain.
  3. Put the onions, tomatoes and remaining ingredients into a large saucepan and bring to a boil.
  4. Reduce heat and simmer for 1 1/2 hours.
  5. Pour into warm sterilized jars and seal.
