Southern Praline Ice Cream Sauce

Ingredients:

  • 1 1/4 cups chopped pecans (5 oz)
  • 7 tbsp butter
  • 1 1/2 cups light brown sugar
  • 3 tbsp flour

Directions:

  1. Put pecans and 3 Tablespoons butter in microwave safe dish.
  2. Cook on high for ten minutes, stirring twice.
  3. Put rest of butter in separate microwave safe dish.
  4. Heat until melted.
  5. Whisk in brown sugar, and flour, and syrup til blended.
  6. Cook on high 6-8 minutes , stirring twice, until the sugar is dissolved and thick; add pecan/butter mixture.
  7. Let stand 2 minutes.
  8. Pour into hot jars and seal.
