  1. Cook okra in boiling, salted water for 10 minutes.
  2. Drain.
  3. Saute onion and green pepper in oil; add tomatoes and cook slowly 5 minutes.
  4. Add okra and remaining ingredients; cook over low heat until vegetables are just tender, sitrring as little as possible.
