Southern Fried Catfish With 7 Up

Ingredients:

  • catfish fillets (however many you need)
  • 1 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp pepper
  • 7 oz seven up
  • 1/4 cup grits

Directions:

  1. Sprinkle fish with salt and pepper.
  2. Mix cornmeal and grits in separate bowl.
  3. Dip fish in 7 up then roll in cornmeal mixture.
  4. Fry fish in hot oil until brown and crisp.
  5. Drain on paper towel.
  6. Serve with hushpuppies and tartar sauce.
