Ingredients:

  • 2 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 2 tsp ginger
  • 3/4 tsp cinnamon
  • 1/2 tsp cloves, ground
  • 3/4 cup butter or margarine
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 1/4 cup molasses
  • 2 tbsp sugar

Directions:

  1. Cream all ingredients together. Using large tablespoon make 1 1/2-inch balls and roll in sugar. Place cookies on ungreased cookie sheet and bake in 350^F oven for 10 minutes.
