Ingredients:

  • 1 1/2 cup warm water
  • 2 2/3 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 2/3 tbsp sugar
  • 2 tsp salt
  • 1/3 tsp basil dried
  • 2 2/3 tsp dry yeast
  • 1 1/3 tbsp butter melted

Directions:

  1. In a mixing bowl, dissolve yeast in warm water. Add sugar and olive oil. Let stand a few minutes to allow the yeast to grow. Add cheese, garlic powder, basil, and salt. Add flour to form a soft dough.
  2. Knead for 8 min. Place in large greased cookie and roll to edges. Cut with pizza cutter into strips. Then brush with butter and sprinkle with Italian seasoning and more parmesan cheese. Preheat oven to 350 Deg. F. Allow to rise until doubled.
  3. Bake for 18-20 min, or until golden brown on top and bottom. Remove breadsticks to wire rack and break apart. Serve warm. Makes approximately 40 breadsticks.
