Ingredients:

Directions:

  1. In large bowl, combine flour, salt, and cayenne pepper.
  2. Add cheese, mixing well.
  3. Cut in butter until mixture resembles a coarse meal.
  4. Knead dough with hands until smooth.
  5. Preheat oven to 425.
  6. On a lightly-floured surface, roll out dough to 1/4-inch thickness.
  7. Cut into rounds with a 1 1/2-inch biscuit cutter.
  8. Place rounds on greased baking sheets.
  9. Top each round with an almond.
  10. Bake for 10-12 minutes or until lightly browned around edges.
  11. Cool on wire racks.
  12. Store in airtight container.
