Ingredients:

Directions:

  1. Drizzle roast with EVOO
  2. Rub in meat tenderizer and garlic pepper
  3. Put in slow cooker
  4. Generously drizzle with worcestershire
  5. Sprinkle with dry mix
  6. Add veggies
  7. Dot 3 T butter over all
  8. Mix soup with 1 or 2 cans water and pour over
  9. Add water to just cover if needed, maybe 1 more can depending on the size of your roast and how it fits in the crockpot
  10. Cook on low - med. all day, depending on your cooker
  11. * This calls for a little more water than some recipes because it's needed for cooking the veggies. I put my potatoes in first, then carrots, so they cook thoroughly. You can microwave them for about 8 or 10 minutes first to give them a head start.
  12. *My cooker comes off of the base, and I can place it on the stove eye 20 minutes before serving if the veggies need it, and can also bring it to a boil, stir a heaping teaspon into a small amount of cold water in a cup, then stir into the roast to thicken. You may need to transfer all the juice to a stovetop pot to thicken.
  13. ** If my roast is frozen, I simply put it in the cooker and sprinkle with the first seasonings instead of rubbing them in, then follow through the other steps, using a little less water. Set cooker on medium. It browns just fine, and is very tender! Does need more thickening that way, though.
