Ingredients:

  • 12 slices white bread
  • 1 lb small shrimp, chopped
  • 2 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp sugar
  • 1 tbsp cornstarch
  • 1 (4 oz) can water chestnuts
  • 1 egg

Directions:

  1. Chop all filling ingredients in food processor.
  2. Spread on bread.
  3. Cut in quarters and fry, shrimp side down in hot oil (375 degrees).
  4. Brown both sides lightly.
  5. Drain on paper towels and enjoy.
