Scrumptious banana bread

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 1 1/2 cups flour
  • 1/8 cup melted butter
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 cup nuts (optional)
  • 3/4 cup chocolate , cinnamon or 3/4 cup peanut butter chips (optional)

Directions:

  1. Mash bananas.
  2. Add sugar, then egg.
  3. Add remainder of ingredients and stir just until well-mixed.
  4. Pour into three small greased and floured bread pans, or into one 9x5 loaf pan.
  5. Bake at 350 for 35-40 minutes for small pans, 45-50 minutes for large pan, or until it tests done.
