Savory Macaroni & Cheese Cake

Ingredients:

Directions:

  1. Preheat oven to 325 degrees.
  2. Cook macaroni following directions; drain and set aside.
  3. In skillet, melt margarine until sizzling.
  4. Stir in breadcrumbs, saute over medium heat for 4 minutes or until browned.
  5. Sprinkle in bottom of spring form pan.
  6. In large mixing bowl beat cream cheese,at medium speed until smooth.
  7. Continue to beat, adding 1 egg at a time.
  8. Gradually add sour cream, flour, basil, salt and garlic;mix until smooth.
  9. Stir in macaroni and cheese.
  10. Pour on top of crumbs in spring form pan.
  11. Bake 50- 60 minutes or until slightly set in middle.
  12. Let stand 5 minutes.
  13. Remove side of pan and slice with serrated knife.
