Ingredients:

Directions:

  1. Prepare your dough.
  2. Grease a casserole dish, which you line with appro.
  3. 2/3 of the dough.
  4. Arrange layers of cooked kraut,& frankfurters, or bacon.
  5. (you can even add slightly cooked diced potatoes& add).
  6. Mix together the cream, tomato sauce, and paprika.
  7. This you pour over the pie filling.
  8. Roll the remaining dough over and prick with a fork.
  9. Or if you prefer, you can also cut strips and basket-weave a pattern on top.
  10. Brush this pastry with the egg yolk then Bake it in the oven at 350* for 1 hr.
