Salad Dressing Cake And Frosting

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 cup hot water
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 cup coca (scant)
  • 1 tsp soda
  • 2 cups flour
  • 2 tbsp shortening
  • 1 cup sugar
  • amount of cocoa to your taste
  • 1/3 cup milk
  • pinch of salt

Directions:

  1. Cake:
  2. Combine all ingredients. pour into prepared pan and bake at 350 to 375 for about 35 minutes or until wooden pick comes out clean.
  3. Cool
  4. Frosting:
  5. Beat all ingredients well and frost cake.
