Ingredients:

Directions:

  1. Prepare sauce by adding tomato sauce with sugars, lemon juice and citric acid. Heat til sugars dissolve. Let cool.
  2. Combine hamburger, rice and 2 cups sauce, set aside.
  3. In a large pot of boiling water, core, then cook cabbage, pulling off outer leaves til all are loose. Cook leaves til mostly tender. Let cool.
  4. Take lg. to sm. handfulls of hamburger depending on size of cabbage leaf, put in middle of leaf and roll cabbage around beef to make a roll.
  5. In a dutch oven or roasting pan put sauce on bottom then cover with cabbage rolls. Pour sauce over first layer then place another layer of rolls on top a different direction. Repeat layers then top all with rest of sauce.
  6. Cover and bake in 350degree oven for about 2 hours.
