Ingredients:

  • 3 cups flour
  • 1 package yeast
  • 2 eggs
  • 1/2 cup warm water
  • 1 tbsp sugar
  • filling
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1/4 cup ground nuts
  • 2 tbsp cinnamon
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • dash of cinnamon

Directions:

  1. In a cup mix the water, sugar and the yeast.
  2. Let sit. In a large bowl, combine margarine and flour.
  3. Add eggs and yeast to flour mixture.
  4. Knead the dough until smooth and soft.
  5. Divide dough into thirds.
  6. Pour 1/4 cup of the filling on the baking surface.
  7. Place dough on top of filling.
  8. Roll out until you have a nice circle.
  9. Spread 1/4 cup of filling on top of the dough.
  10. Cut into 12 pieces in the shape of pie slices.
  11. Roll each of the 12 pieces from large end to small end and place on cookie sheet, point side down.
  12. Bake at 350 for 20 minutes until brown. Makes 36 cookies.
